Therefore, the main object of this study was to identify the list of flora, life form and geographical distribution of plant species in the Juniperus foetidissima habitat in Arasbaran protected reserved region, East Azerbaijan province, Northwest of Iran. Sampling was done by the survey method. Identification, recording and preparing herbarium samples of plant species were done in the foetid juniper stands in Kaleybar County. A total number of 46 plant species were identified belong to 42 genera and 22 families. Asteraceae and Fabaceae families with 9 (19.57%) and 6 (13.04%) species had the most frequent species, respectively. The life form of the plant species in Raunkiaer's classification showed that Therophytes (44.4%) and Hemicrytophytes (42.2%) were the most frequent life forms and followed by Phanerophytes (6.7%), Cryptophytes (4.4%) and Geophytes (2.2%). The geographical distribution of plant species indicated that the Irano-Turanian floristic region was dominant (42.2%) in this study area. رویشگاه گونه آردوج (Juniperus foetidissima Willd.) در منطقه حفاظت شده ارسباران یکی از مهم‌ترین رویشگاه‌های این گونه در کشور محسوب می‌شود، از این رو هدف مطالعه حاضر، معرفی فلور، شکل زیستی و پراکنش جغرافیایی گیاهان در این منطقه بود. نمونه‌برداری به روش پیمایشی و با شناسایی، ثبت و برداشت نمونه‌های هرباریومی در توده‌ آردوج در محدوده شهرستان کلیبر انجام شد. در کل 46 گونه گیاهی متعلق به 42 جنس و 22 خانواده در منطقه شناسایی شدند. خانواده‌های Asteraceae با 9 گونه (%57/19) و Fabaceae با 6 گونه (%04/13) بیشترین گونه‌های گیاهی را به خود اختصاص داده و مهم‌ترین خانواده‌های گیاهی منطقه معرفی شدند. از نظر شکل زیستی بر اساس طبقه‌بندی رانکایر، تروفیت‌ها (%4/44) و همی‌کریپتوفیت‌ها (%2/42) بیشترین شکل‌های زیستی گیاهان منطقه بودند و بعد از آن‌ها به ترتیب فانروفیت‌ها (%7/6)، کریپتوفیت‌ها (%4/4) و ژئوفیت‌ها (%2/2) قرار داشتند. بررسی پراکنش جغرافیایی گونه‌های گیاهی، غلبه گونه‌های متعلق به ناحیه رویشی ایران-تورانی (%2/42) را نشان داد. https://www.jess.ir/article_120388_7c52edb6a91cb8a191c6f75e90b4c663.pdf
