Abstract

Reducing the use of non-renewable resources, enhancing the natural environment, controlling environmental pollution, and providing clean energy are important issues of concern in different communities, and planning for its implementation is a necessity. Since Iran has a special geographical location due to its location in a region with high potential and high solar radiation intensity, it can be attempted to produce and apply new energy by providing a suitable solution and recognizing its capabilities and potentials. The purpose of this article is to propose a suitable solution for the use of new and renewable solar energy, especially the photovoltaic system and its zoning in Iran. To realize this, it is necessary to use renewable local energies by recognizing the renewable resources and capabilities available in every part of the country. The results show that by studying and understanding the solar energy, the photovoltaic system capabilities, and its application, understanding the position of Iran, and studying the amount of sunlight in it, Iran has a good base for exploiting photovoltaic systems. Accordingly, the climatic zoning of the photovoltaic system in Iran is discussed in this article.
