Abstract

Studies in recent years show that more than 80 percent of Tehran's air pollution is caused by vehicles or mobile sources, which in the meantime has been the role of cars over other vehicles. In the present study diffusion coefficient formula is used for estimating the emissions in every part of Vali Asr Street that needed some information such as the number of vehicles, slope of crossing, the length of road, and the average speed of vehicles. Estimate the number of vehicles that calculated by EMME/2 model, obtained from the comprehensive study of Tehran transport organization and the data, was gathered related to Peak hour of morning traffic for autumn 2013. The results of the research show that although there is a significant relationship between the number of vehicles and the amount of pollutant emissions, But according to the average speed of vehicles along the way is varied and the height difference was in the street, and there is a significant difference in height along the street, resulting in emissions varying at different slopes and speeds, the number of vehicles alone can not lead to a craving for production The pollutant will be ranked first.
