Peer Review Process

The Quarterly Journal of Environmental Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to maintaining internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an impartial, unbiased, and objective evaluation.

Manuscripts that fall within the scope of the journal and comply with its formatting and ethical requirements are subject to initial editorial screening. Eligible submissions proceed to the peer review stage only after preliminary approval by the Editor-in-Chief.

The editorial board reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions to any manuscript at any stage of the editorial process, when deemed necessary. Full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and ethical integrity of the manuscript rests solely with the authors.

Each submission is normally evaluated by up to four independent reviewers, selected from a combination of reviewers suggested by the authors and those appointed by the journal. In cases where all invited reviewers decline to review the manuscript, the submission will be returned to the authors and considered rejected.
