Abstract

Air pollution is the current challenge of these days. Thus the analysis of concentrations pollutants in air and their effects on the human health is the main issue of the researches which would lead to better management to reduce the damages.
In this regard concentrations of Benzene, Toluene, Xylene and Ethyl-Benzene (BTEX) are evaluated inside and outside of Imam Reza Shrine Parking to depict the difference of concentrations. Afterwards the risk of cancer derived from BTEX is analyzed in specified stations.
According to the results the concentration of BTEX pollutants inside the Parking is four to ten times more than the outside air which could be due to improper air conditioning and traffic of the cars.
