Abstract

Concerns caused by the rapid population growth have led to a major concern for energy security and solid waste management. Welfare has a role to play in increasing waste production and should be managed in some way. There are several methods, including biogas, burial, and burning. The best management is to turn problems into opportunities because today one of the most important problems of urbanization is the growing trend of waste production, and reduction of waste production and proper disposal is essential. The collection, disposal, recycling and basic management of solid waste in Iran is very different from other countries in the world, so the use of any technology without the knowledge of materials and compatibility of local factors is not worthwhile. The use of household wastes for energy can help to protect the environment, on the other hand, to reduce waste disposal costs. In this paper, waste management has been emphasized with emphasis on energy supply based on collecting methods and urban waste disposal standards.
